About Patrick David's
April of 2006 marked the 10th
Anniversary of Patrick David's! We continue to celebrate
the successful execution of our vision and the joy of our
passion!
Patrick David Schoolcraft has a 35-year career as a restaurateur.
Laura, his wife, has a sales and marketing background, with 16
years of developing businesses for retailers.
It is an interesting combination of diverse talents. Patrick
decided after dissolving a partnership in two restaurants that
he would take a break and start his own catering business. Laura,
now ready for a new challenge, thought she might help him by selling
corporate catering.
In their effort of scouting for a catering location, they came
across a great place. Patrick took one look at it and said Oh,
we have to do a restaurant! Laura said, We do? Thats
not in the plan."
The Birth of the restaurant took place in April of 1996. Patrick
created a concept that was diverse from all the other food establishments
in this quaint and beautiful shopping center in the Danville Livery.
The food was Asian Pacific Rim.
This new and innovative concept was a timely approach to the
food industry and it was received well in the affluent community.
The restaurant provides a great format for Patrick to showcase
his talents. He is constantly creating in both the restaurant
and the catering.
Patrick Davids just completed an expansion and renovation
adding in a beautiful full bar, bathrooms and a new Montague Excalibur
island stove. Boys (chefs) and their toys!
Fun, Fun, and more Fun. Laura and Patrick's first love is the catering,
and you are more likely to see them at a event than in the restaurant.
The catering has a long list of exclusive clientele and now they
engage frequently in doing elegant, high caliber, large events.
They boast of their great employees who enable them to have a
life while growing and developing two businesses. Their employees
are their greatest asset.
